We'll get to know each other, talk through your hopes and concerns, explore your options, and prepare for the kind of support you want during labor.
During Labor
I'll provide continuous emotional and physical support, comfort measures, positioning suggestions, breathing and relaxation techniques, and information to help you communicate your needs.
Your partner doesn't get replaced -- they get supported, too.
When Plans Change
Birth doesn't always follow the plan.
If an induction, epidural, cesarean, transfer, or unexpected change happens, I'll help you understand what's happening, stay grounded, and continue making informed choices.
After Birth
I'll check in, help you process your experience, and make sure you don't feel like support suddenly disappears the moment your baby arrives.
