Doula Support Covered by Tricare in Michigan
Rooted Package
Tricare coverage under the Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration (CBSD) is required to be trackeed via time. You are entitled to six hours of visits and unlimited support at the birth event. Additional time/visits may be purchased out-of-pocket.

Birth Blueprint - Birth plans? Too rigid. We create a blueprint -- a flexible guide that adapts as your pregnancy unfolds, because birth (like life) doesn’t always follow a script.

Pain Management, Comfort Measures & Doula Bag - We’ll cover medical options like nitrous oxide, IV meds, and epidurals, along with non-medical techniques like acupressure, meditation, and hypnosis. You’ll also learn about comfort measures -- massage, heat/cold therapy, hydrotherapy, and hands-on support. Plus, I’ll walk you through the tools I bring, including my go-to, the CUB stool.

Labor Positions - There’s more to birth than lying on your back. We’ll explore movement options, even with an epidural, so you feel prepared and in control.

Postpartum Prep - Forget focusing only on the baby -- this is your time. We’ll cover healing, hydration, and how to set up your space so you can recover with ease (and maybe even a little peace).

Birth Support - When the big day comes, I’ll be by your side -- whether you need a hand to hold, a voice to advocate, or just someone who gets it.

Post-Birth Check-In - A chance to process your birth, vent, celebrate, or just take a breather while I hold the baby for a bit. Your call.

Flexible Visit - This visit is on your timeline -- before baby arrives, after birth, or whenever you need a little extra support. Because postpartum (and pregnancy) aren’t one-size-fits-all.
