Birth Doula at Trinity Health Muskegon

If you're planning to give birth at Trinity Health Muskegon, specifically the Trinity Health Birth Center – Muskegon Hospital, I'm here to help you feel prepared, supported, and confident throughout labor and birth.

I've attended a handful of births at Trinity Muskegon, including medicated births, a Cesarean birth, and a VBA2C. I'm familiar and comfortable navigating the hospital, and parking is straightforward -- which is one less thing to worry about when you're heading in for your birth.

Supporting Different Birth Experiences

My experience at Trinity Muskegon includes a range of families and circumstances. I've supported both first-time and repeat parents, including a Cesarean birth where the client's partner was unable to be there and a birth involving pregnancy loss. Trinity Muskegon also provides care for those planning a VBAC, and I had a client with a successful VBA2C here!

Birth can look very different from one family to the next. My role is to meet you where you are and provide steady physical and emotional support, whatever your birth plan looks like. If you'd like to learn more about what working with me as your birth doula looks like, you can explore my birth doula services.

Preparing for Your Birth

The concerns I hear from families at Trinity Muskegon are much like those I hear everywhere: Will I know what to do? Will I be supported? What if things don't go according to plan? Your birth plan with me is in-depth, and we'll talk through your preferences, comfort measures, partner support, and different possibilities before you arrive at the hospital. If you're worried about what happens if your baby needs more specialized care, that's something we can talk through before your birth. Trinity Health Muskegon has a Special Care Nursery, and the hospital has a transport process for babies who need a higher level of neonatal care.

Whether you're planning a vaginal birth, hoping for a VBA2C, preparing for a Cesarean, or facing a loss, you don't have to navigate the experience alone.

Support for You and Your Partner

My role isn't to take over your birth. I'm there to provide continuous emotional and physical support, offer comfort measures, help you understand your options, and support your partner along the way.

And when your partner can't be there, I'll be there to provide that additional support and companionship when you need it most.

Loss Support at Trinity Muskegon

Pregnancy and infant loss requires a different kind of support. I provide compassionate, individualized bereavement doula support for families experiencing loss, including support through the hospital experience.

You deserve care that acknowledges both the medical experience and the emotional weight of what you're going through.

A Familiar Face at Trinity Muskegon

While I haven't attended dozens of births at Trinity Muskegon, I'm comfortable navigating the hospital and familiar with the birth environment. My goal is to help you feel less like you're navigating the hospital alone and more like you have someone in your corner from the moment you need support.
